mega rare vintage hardy alnwick st george trout fly fishing reel 3" no agate

Description: for sale here is an extremely rare hardy st george , most likely a one-off special order , the reel has never been fitted with an agate guide , its the only one i have ever seen and my fishy expert friends have never seen one either , there is no cut-out for it and no hole for the rivet so it has been sold this way , it has a polished finish and has never been fully leaded either , its not a spitfire it has just never been totally leaded as there is some evidence of light leading on inner rim and im guessing this is correct too , 3" , early 3 screw spool release , ebonite handle , ribbed brass foot all correct and straight , rim tension , RHW , twin checks , overall excellent with no line burns or damage etc and everything is tight and tidy and all fully cleaned and serviced etc...a real unicorn this one and absolutely genuine... ....CHECK OUT MY OTHER HARDY AND OTHER REELS ETC..ref box 1 please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is jennywrentackle if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reelobviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
