Description: This is for a rare 13th century bronze hanging oil lamp featuring the Hindu Mythology Bird God Garuda. It is 15 inches tall and 13 inches wide. There are some pin holes on the side of the four areas of the reservoir bowls. It needs a good cleaning. I can only find one like it with four reservoir bowls, it's in a German museum. The only difference is it features a lady in a carriage, instead of the Bird God Garuda. I cannot find the museum again, but I think they said it was from 1232AD to 1280AD the 13th century. That's the only info I have about the lamp. It is a very cool looking collectible, ready for your collection. Thanks for looking.
