The set includes a lot of pieces and all are still in plastic except for the wheels and couple other pieces, and most of the parts are made of metal. The theme of the set is possibly a helicopter, and it is suitable for ages 8 to adults. The set is part of the Erector Set series, and it features a gear building set with an engineer character. None of the packaging has been opened. The Erector set does not have any guide books with it. You may be able to download them from the Internet if needed. The box handle is no longer on it. The locking mechanism still works. Other wise the set is in great condition. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description.
