Description: Mecca Cigarette Cards Birds Series T43/2 1910 Gold Border Factory 649 Lot of 4 Original vintage tobacco trading cards issued strictly by the Mecca Cigarettes wing of the American Tobacco Company.Unlike the T42 cards, Mecca is the only brand associated with the T43 set, although the cards can be found with both Factory 30 and Factory 649 designations. These are factory 649. The cards are more ornate than are their T42 gold border counterparts. Two of these cards are T43.They measure about 2 5/8" x 1 1/2."The Gold Border series is much more condition sensitive than the White Border set.Mixed condition. They are printed on heavy card stock.
