Description: Do you ever come across items that you would collect in a heartbeat?? Well, this is one of them for me. It's a MCM Troyan Pottery Bulgaria Drip Glaze Cup / Saucer; Terracotta Slip Ware. I am SO fascinated by the colors and the process of creating such an "in your face" design; I just love it. The Bulgarians have been making this sort of pottery forever and it's so colorful and distinctive. Evidently it is identifiable by the person who made it as each person has their own particular style. It measures 3" by 5" with both piece; the saucer measures 4.85"; it's in excellent condition, with a few tiny scratches inside the saucer, one on the bottom of the saucer, and it shows crazing under magnification.
