Description: Wonderful vintage set of 8 crystal glass and silver plate 4” bar coasters or ashtrays from Leonard Eales, featuring a sparkling sunburst pattern in the center of the crystal and a simple decorative detailing along the inside rim of the silver border. 4 of the coaster are marked with "Made in Italy" in the crystal glass area and "Leonard, Italy, Silverplate" on the silver rims. The other 4 coasters read “Italy” underneath the silver rim and not in the pressed glass portion and also marked on rim “Leonard Silverplate”. Lovely vintage condition, with expected evidence of age and use. There are areas of tarnish on the silver plate. Only one coaster has a bit more damage to silver plate. See photo.
