Description: One of the best brands of the original 1950s vintage Swiss wrist alarm watches made by Concord and featuring a solid-yellow gold shell top on the stainless steel case. This is a great early collector's wrist alarm watch to add to your collection. Uncommon brand wrist alarm to find, a must-have for the alarm watch collector. Very elegant. Classic dress alarm watch. Mixed arabic and baton markers on the original dial signed Concord Alarm and Swiss at the very bottom. Signed Concord on the movement and case. Dial is still nearly perfect. A fine gentleman's vintage watch, maybe used to track the parking meter on his car. Water-resistant case with screw-back. Gold-capped cases have a thick, solid layer of solid gold on top, which has a much better look than gold-filled cases that tend to show fine scratches easily. Nice sounding alarm on this perfectly sized wristwatch. Measures 33.8mm across (not counting the crowns) and 41mm profile from lug top tip to bottom tip. All original as it was sold in the 1950s. Pristine 17-jewel Concord Swiss signed movement is an AS1475 a very easy Swiss movement to service or repair later.
