Description: For sale is a set of 2 rare Ronald McDonald neckties. I have not found any other ties like them. A good find for any collector of McDonald's Restaurant memorabilia. The first is a red 1983 "Ronald McDonald for President" polyester necktie. It is emblazoned with images of Ronald McDonald holding a campaign sign. It was produced in conjunction with a very brief "Ronald McDonald for President" advertising campaign. I actually remember commercials for this as a child. Sadly, Ronald McDonald lost to Ronald Reagan the following year (probably earned more electoral votes than Mondale though :) ). The 2nd tie was produced by McDonald's Central Europe. I am unsure of the date. It is silk, produced in Austria, and sports the logo in front of McDonald's "Garlic Division". I was not aware that McDonald's restaurants even had a "Garlic Division". It is probably only in Europe. It sounds like a great idea!Both ties are both in excellent condition. No damage of any kind. The tie is 58"-60" long (classical tie length) and 3 1/8" wide at the widest.Buy with confidence. Returns are accepted.
