WHAT A NEAT FUN ENGINE, sure to draw attention! A lot of these engines get restored looking real nice, but these 2 important steps on the twin engines are overlooked, seeing access to a magnet recharger is just NOT available, and new coils for these twins are very expensive and hard to source, and most of the originals are dead. What you end up with is a 70 year old weak spark that keeps the engine from running like it should. This one sparks LIKE NEW! so you'll be lucky to have it as one to own! The engine was gone completely through and redone right from an "ole timer" that has a passion for restoring these Maytags. Engine is ready to go to a show or impress your friends or neighbors, what a conversation piece! These original engines were mounted on the bottom of Maytag washing machines in the early to middle of the 19th century and used in rural America where a lot of people just didn't have electricity. Usually the lady of the house would have the job of kick starting this engine in order to wash the clothes.
