Original Unframed Illustration (Frontispiece) From the 1925 First Spiral Bound Edition of Louise Saunders’ ‘The Knave Of Hearts’. Page size is 12 5/8” x 10 3/4”, image size is 12”x 9 3/4”. There is a small 1 3/4” stain/discoloration in the margin in the bottom right corner extending a bit into the image (photo #9). Trimming/framing would help remedy. Also, a small 1/4” tear in the bottom left margin (photo #5 & 11). MP signature bottom right corner under the stain (photo #10). Otherwise Color & condition are Fine. Reverse side is blank. Fortunately the crease in the front cover did not affect the contents. The last 2 photos, the book itself, is shown for provenance only and is “Not” included.
