Description: Listed artist Maurice Taquoy spent much of his life in and around Paris. Taquoy relished witnessing fox hunts in the countryside as depicted in this work. He was inclined to drawing on paper, in color, mixing pencil and pen, watercolor and gouache. Taquoy served as an illustrator and artist. This work measures 26” x 17.5” in its period frame. The matted work measures 18.5 x 11.5. Plate signed and graphite signed lower right corner. Excellent vintage condition. Please see pics as they are considered part of the description.
