Description: On offer, we have an original lithograph by Maurice Busset (1879-1936). This is 1 of 24 lithographs published in his folio "En Avion Vols Et Combats". Busset was a French painter who served as a WWI airman and became an official war artist. Here, he shows cattle being bombed by German planes. This is signed in the print on the lower right "Maurice Busset 1919". The back is printed in gold with, I believe, a description of the scene. On very thick paper, this measures 13" X 18 5/8". This is in excellent condition. The print is bright, bold, clean and clear. It has some wear on the edges and a light scratch near the center. As I am not an expert on art, please view all photographs for more description. My good friend is moving to a smaller home and parting with many of his treasures. You may enjoy viewing the other Busset lithographs I have on separate listings at this time. I will be happy to answer any questions, send more photographs and, of course, combine your shipping.
