Description: This is a detailed Kitbash Fire Apparatus nicknamed “Big John”. This is in 1/64 (Matchbox) scale. The truck is a trooper convoy truck that has had the rear troop area removed and replaced with flat diamond plate. The unit is red with black on the roof and hood. Windows have been inserted on the front and back. There is diamond plate on the running boards and fenders. The main unit is hydraulic but please note this model is stationary. The main has eight pipes to the rear and two curled pipes to the front supported by a brace with red dome lights on each side of the brace. The unit has valves placed. There are three pipes to the front along with a folded hose. Two sirens are on each fender. The unit has CFD and Civil Defense markings. This is by far the most complicated unit I have created. A lot of man hours. Once again, not exact but a good facsimile. Great for a Fire history buff!
