Description: Matchbox F1 Texaco Speedtrack HO Scale slot car.This slot car has a molded white body and red markings. Tested and working. The body is intact and the colors are bright. The front wheels and axle are attached to the body, not the chassis. This slot car chassis was made in Hong Kong. This Matchbox slot car will not run on most Ho slot car tracks! The spacing of the pickup shoes is closer than most other Ho slot car tracks. I believe it will only run on the Matchbox track. These chassis were produced between 1977 to 1981. The Chassis was cleaned and oiled, and the rear axle was performance shimmed for better gear mesh. Tested and runs great but was not track tested. The gears are a little noisy when running. The rear tires were replaced and are in OK condition. The front tires are original and are hard. NOTE: Guide pin is missing, and the rear spoiler has a missing section. Included is a vintage Tyco S tjet era Jaguar XKE body. The rear mounting post is missing, the A pillars are broken, and the windshield is cracked. Would be a good runner body with a little work.
