Description: Huge 18-1/2" Late Qing Dynasty Blue & White Charger This Amazing Charger is decorated with two shades of cobalt blue and shows a beautiful Spring Country Scene. Incredibly large, this Charger dates to the late1800's - early 1900s era of Illustrious China. Across the top are Plum Blossoms, or Prunus, which represent the new life of Spring. A butterfly and another Spring flower, the Chrysanthemum, represent good fortune, wealth, and honor. Mostly in great Antique condition with natural wear and minor scratches on this Charger consistent with use and age. There are few hair lines on edges as pictured but it is pretty solid and strong lines are visible but not really evident. You can see numerous sprue marks on the bottom, from the firing. Extremely beautiful still great condition (rare for this this size of Charger), this would be a Wonderful Centerpiece for any serious collection. Dimensions are 21-1/2" in diameter!! and 3-1/4" high. Heavy 11.5" lbs before packing.This charger was acquired in a local fine high-end Estate Sale. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY ALL PICTURES AND REQUEST MORE IS NEEDED
