Description: This is a first-generation COPY of a script from the MASH TV series (not a transcript or Photoshop recreation). The original 1979 script was used by the wardrobe department and costume notes are written throughout. It bears the name of Carmine Scelza who played a corpsman in several episodes but isn’t credited in this one. A copy is being offered here. In the "Too Many Cooks" episode, the 4077 receives a patient (Ed Begley Jr, three years before St. Elsewhere) who is a bumbler at the front but a gourmet chef in the mess tent. The surgical staff try and convince Colonel Potter (Harry Morgan) to keep him but he flatly refuses. He has enough trouble as he is worried about his marriage. The rest of the classic sitcom cast includes Alan Alda (the only actor to appear in every episode), Mike Farrell, Gary Burghoff, Loretta Swit, David Ogden Stiers, and William Christopher. John Randolph also guests as Potter’s old friend. The script's cover has been reproduced in color and a sheet of acetate is included to keep it looking pristine (to be honest, this copy looks better than the original). The script pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a TV collector will be proud to own and display.
