Description: Marx Happi Time, Sears and Roebuck complete O / O27 Diesel Freight Train Set __________________________________________________ This is a used Marx, Sears Roebuck and Company # 09632 Happi Time 5 unit A C powered complete O / O27 5 unit diesel freight train set. It is a complete train set and is in excellent condition. The track and transformer and set box are also in good condition. Included in this sale are the following: 1 - Marx #6000 Southern Pacific, tin plate diesel A unit locomotive, with a powerful AC motor with working headlight, lensand decorative horns. It runs in forward and reverse directions controlled from the transformer. The #6000 locomotives were built from 1952 to 1954, so I am sure that this set was built for Sears during that same period.1 - Marx #6000 Southern Pacific, tin plate diesel dummy A unit with decorative horns and ballast weight 1 - Marx 467110 B&O 4 wheel boxcar. 1 - Marx 347100 Pennsylvania 4 wheel gondola. 1 - Marx Southern Pacific 4 wheel caboose. 1 - Marx #1549 70 watt transformer with a speed control, a 110 volt power cord, 2 conductor track power cable and a Marx track power connector for connection to the track. 8 - O27 gauge curved track sections.4 - O27 gauge straight track sections. 1 - Standard operating instruction booklet 1 - Track polishing pad I completely assembled the set and tested everything. The locomotives are nicely weighted to hug the track. These are by far the nicest Marx 6000 diesels I have seen in a long time. All the cars have fixed knuckle couplers. The train and set box are in very good condition, especially considering that they are over 70 years old. The track does have some light rust and tarnish. I lightly cleaned them, made sure each track has 3 pins and the train runs nicely on these tracks.
