Description: Offered for your consideration is this MARX 5620 ELECTRIC TRAIN, “STREAM LINE STEAM TYPE ELECTRICAL TRAIN” consisting of: Original Box with Inner Dividers in good condition (assumed to be original!) Instructions-1 sheet, 4 pages in good condition (assumed to be original) Locomotive – no markings Tender – NEW YORK CENTRAL Gondola – Yellow/Black, Baltimore & Ohio No. 241708 Caboose – Red/Gray/Black. NYC No. 20102 Curved 3-rail track sections, Qty= 8, FAIR condition; appears to be close to O-27; no straight sections included. Toy transformer, CAT NO. 309 w/2 wires and a Track Connector; power cord and plug appear to be in very good condition but a close examination is always prudent. The Locomotive, Tender and 2 cars are in Very Good condition; the locomotive contact slide (center rail) has some evidence of operation but for the most part it appears this set has had very little “play time”. The toy transformer and locomotive operate well (please see very brief video attached) as do the tender and cars; note the couplers resemble knuckle couplers but do not operate (requires hand coupling). The locomotive would probably benefit from some normal servicing; NOTE – the instructions state “We recommend that you use vaseline or a medium thick motor oil, of the same consistency….”Shipping weight approximately 8 pounds and dimensionally will exceed 1 cubic foot.T & C Please review the pictures and video very carefully as they constitute the full description of the items.
