Marx 1971 Type II Triceratops Variety With No Name, Waxy Gray. Approximately 3 1/4" in length, Marx introduced its Type I Triceratops mold in 1955, and its Type II mold in 1959. The company continued to use both molds through 1979 when the company ceased to exist. In the 1970s, Marx's Triceratops came only in waxy colors. Any produced after 1979 were made from the original molds by non-Marx companies. See second photo illustrating the differences between the types. Any diorama details depicted are not included.
