Description: Classic and elegant gown purchased and altered at Kleinfeld Bridal. Features a V-neck, V-back, thin straps, fit and flare bodice, and a train. Silk mikado fabric provides structure and has a subtle sheen. Worn once and professionally cleaned; no known flaws. Alterations by Kleinfeld's director of alterations created a simpler and more classic look than the original Martina Liana gown: -Neckline was raised in the middle for more coverage -Boning was added in the bodice for more structure -Softer cups replaced hard cups for a more natural bust -Straps were moved closer to the center of the back for a more streamlined look and to prevent them slipping off -Back buttons and bow were removed -Tulle under the skirt was removed -Fabric was taken in along the seams of the skirt to reduce the volume -Length was hemmed to kiss the floor in the front on a person 5'3" wearing 4-inch heels -Length of the train was shortened Please note that some fabric from the detachable bow that is originally included with this style was used for the alterations so it can no longer be worn. However, the remaining fabric from the bow along with the fabric from the hem is included should the bride choose to do any additional alterations. The "ball gown" bustle (train-flip bustle) ties underneath the dress to create the appearance of a floor-length gown. Wrist strap at the end of the train.
