Condition: Edgewear,dirt, natural craquelure, a few flecks, two tears with clear patches, unframed, as found. Martin Sabransky is known for Painting; Architecture. Born in Kenton, Ohio on Feb. 3, 1895. Sabransky studied art at the Randolph-Macon Academy in Virginia. He worked in Kansas City before moving to Los Angeles in the 1930s. He was a draftsman until about 1940, and then was a set designer for Disney and other movie studios. In his leisure he painted landscapes of the desert near Palm Springs, the Sierra and Arizona. He died in Los Angeles on Jan. 30, 1986. He exhibited at the Businessmen's Art Club, Los Angeles in 1958.
