Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood sides and back, ebony fingerboard and bridge, herringbone trim, checkered flag back strip, Schaller open back pegs, Avalon slotted square fingerboard inlay, tortoiseshell pickguard, 44.5mm nut width, Modified oval neck shape that is thin to the high frets, scalloped X bracing. This model has an appearance reminiscent of an old Martin, such as an open back peg, a tortoiseshell pattern pickguard, and an aging toner with a burnt-like fading feel, and a good look with the coveted herringbone. The new neck shape also improves the play feel. The saddle part is a short saddle like the standard series, and is highly expandable to include PU etc. A rich sound with a soft and wide range that is clearly different from non-scanning.
