This is the Martin D-18V, a vintage series that reproduces pre-war (1939-1940) specs. It is equipped with an adjustable rod and finished in a vintage color. It has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and back, forward shifted X-bracing, modified V-shaped select hardwood neck, 648mm (25.5") scale/406mm (16") R/approx. 43.4mm nut, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, long saddle, and open-back pegs with butterbean knobs. The D-18 is loved by many for its brilliant and lustrous sound, and is characterized by the rich sound and mid-range unique to dreadnoughts, making it a recommended guitar for both finger pickers and strokers. The bridge pins have been replaced, and there are repair marks on the bottom of the bridge on the body top to prevent cracking.
