The leather is 4 oz thick and tough for years of service. The kit will come with 2 threading harness needles and 3' of waxed & braided thread. The braided thread is very strong. This relly adds both FORM & FUNCTION to your Rifle and the leather really compliments the wood on most lever rifles for a GREAT LOOK! NOTE: Recommend that you remove the lever from your rifle and place in a vice to facilitate a good tight and solid wrap of the lever. Once wrap is complete re-attach the lever loop to your rifle.
