This is a full-color production art cover on glossy coated cardstock, including both the front and back covers, and is blank on the reverse side. Please note that this is NOT a mass-produced print or lithograph. It is a production art cover that is created during the production process for the comic. It features a classic image of Spidey's most frightening villain, Venom (Eddie Brock, with the alien symbiote costume partially showing his face) by legendary comic book artist Mark Bagley. The piece measures approximately 10 1/2" by 14", and is in very good condition with minor handling wear around the edges, including a few small thin crease lines. Please note there is an indentation mark near the top middle edge of the front cover that does not really show in the scan. Also, please note that in the scanner it doesn't really show well, but this is a foil enhanced cover, and the silver areas on the cover is an awesome light reflective foil. In the scanner it comes out dark, but in person it's much lighter. So the actual item looks much nicer when you see it in person than the picture here shows. Also, Venom and the black symbiote strands of his costume are imprinted into the cover, so you can actually feel it raised off the cardstock (sort of a physical 3-D effect).
