Mariposa Barbie – blonde; brown eyes; straight arms; very tippy-toed; nude

Description: This doll is a very pretty Barbie named Mariposa. She is based on the leading character from the 2008 animated film, Barbie Mariposa. The DVD cover title showed as Barbie – Mariposa and her Butterfly Fairy Friends. There should be clothing and wings on this lovely butterfly, but they are no longer with her. There is a piece of plastic inserted in her back where wings should be placed. She is wearing a headband with butterflies and flowers on it. Around her neck are molded wisps of body art that look like a necklace. Her bottom is painted so it does appear she as though she has on a costume bottom or purple panties. Barbie’s feet are set in a very tippy-toed stance, almost as if she were flying. She has dainty fingers on her cupped hands. She is 11 inches tall from her toes to the top of her colorful headband. She has long blonde hair that is parted on her left side. It is a little bit messy from play. Her eyes are brown, with sparkling purple and white shadowing. Her lashes are painted. Her full pursed lips are glittery mauve. ~~ Hopefully the pictures do her justice. She may be ideal for that special OOAK doll someone is creating, or for a doll to play with for someone age three or older.
