This feather design is one created by Julian Martinez after having seen a photograph of a Mimbres polychrome bowl with this design on the interior. The two-dimensional photograph of the interior of the bowl made the bowl appear to be a flat or nearly flat dish, so Julian painted the design on plates. Condition: The plate is in original very good condition. with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair. There is one small spot discoloration and one really small(tiny) white dot please see all photos.
