Marco Antonio Solís Sosa, born on December 29, 1959, is a Mexican musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He was born and raised in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán. Solís began his musical career at the age of six, performing with his brother Joel Solís as Los Hermanitos Solís. In 1975, he co-founded Los Bukis, serving as the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist. After nearly two decades of success, the band split up, and Solís embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut solo album "En Pleno Vuelo" in 1996 through Fonovisa Records.Throughout his career, Solís has received numerous accolades, including five Latin Grammy Awards and two Lo Nuestro Awards. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame.
