Copyright date of 1884, although ads in final pages have some books not published until 1902. Green cloth boards with some noticeable fading to white on covers and spine. Binding is tight, corners sharp, but light wear to all corners. Bumping to spine head and heel, with a small tear to both. Two small holes in cloth cover near lower rear hinge. Small stain to top edge. Internally unmarked and clean, save for penciled signature on ffep and an apparent erasure in the middle of that page. All pages are darkly age tanned as shown in the photos. Two small tears to bottom of pages 5 and 7. Page 13 is loose. A dozen pages of ads for Donohue at the rear of the book.
