Description: This tape player is in good physical condition however it does not playback correctly on battery power. I did not have the AC adapter to try it that way, only D batteries. Even with the correct voltage being measured at the battery contacts, the red low battery light still lights up and during playback you can hear a clocking noise and the tape will stop playing after a few seconds. Fast forward, rewind, and all the other controls on the player seem to act like they should.
