Description: Well…I’ve decided to let this 6300 go. Condition is nearly outstanding—a few scratches to the metalwork behind the tonearm base, a couple of dings in the wood veneer, one foot will not adjust for height. Otherwise it’s pretty snappy. I sent the beast to John out at Specialized Turntables where he rebuilt the motor and corrected the auto lift sensor system. Pots cleaned..lubricants all around…deep cleaning…veneer treated with Palisander Oil from Sterling….new strobe lamp installed….new green tinted slant front cover…and tested for several hours using a variety of cartridges. Speeds dial in as they should..all functions work properly including the auto-lift.. This 6300 does not include a headshell or cartridge…if you’re an interested buyer I’m certain that you have your own personal preferences. I will ship…I use FedEx and I pack them right. Shipping is at the buyers expense. I’d prefer local pickup (I’m just north of Albany NY)…or, I can drive up to 2 hours in most any direction to meet you. Asking price is $1400….and believe it or not, this is a break even price for me.
