Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This handsome and extraordinarily rare LP from Italian RCA (LCC-70 / ML 20170, Italian pressing, "Serie Europa" / Camden, plum/silver label – ED1, mono, no stereo edition exists) features legendary cellist Enrico Mainardi, partnered with the equally remarkable pianist Carlo Zecchi, in magnificent performances of Brahms's Cello Sonatas No. 1 in E minor Op. 38 and No. 2 in F Major Op. 99, recorded in 1952 and never re-issued on LP. The original paper inner sleeve with full-color reproductions of other RCA Italiana issues is also included. CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. The condition of the jacket is EXCELLENT. There is light edge wear, general aging and discoloration, and a visible crease to the lower-left corner. However, there are no seam splits, owners' markings, or other defects and the rather thin paper jacket remains solid and attractive. Overall, an excellent collector's copy. The condition of the LP itself is NM-. Visually, it is free of scratches and there are really no spindle trails. In terms of sound, although surfaces are not perfectly silent, this is a fine copy and the playback remains truly excellent. However, the surfaces are not perfectly silent and so it has been rated as NM- vs. MINT. if you must have a flawless copy, then please do not buy this LP.
