Description: MADONNA 1985 Bill Stone Exhibition INVITE PHOTO PRINT PROMO CARD Pre Fame RARE Extremely rare US invention card to a 1985 gallery exhibition of photographer Bill Stone's work entitled 'Madonna The Beautiful' - an unknown pre-fame Madonna worked for him as a model during her New York days in the late 70s. It measures approximately 7"x5" with a beautiful photo of Madonna on the front - I think it may be printed in some special way as it does not look or feel like a standard modern print and I wonder if it is a sample of the work he was producing as the card reads 'unique toning techniques with copper sulphate and selenium give a special quality to the prints' and it has a beautiful appearance. With exhibition information on reverse side - in all my years of collecting Madonna, I've never seen another one of these invitations - a true treasure in the history of Madonna. In very good condition with slight wear to edge areas, having been stored in plastic cover. Will be posted protected between oversized stiff card to avoid damage in the post.
