Description: I have for sale a macerated cat with pink bow souvenir that was produced pre 1908 with small currency fragments visible. This souvenir is made from destroyed old U.S. paper notes that are no longer fit for circulation,. This souvenir is 3 inches tall & dark in color. The U.S. Treasury sold the macerated pulp to local merchants who in turn made many different tourist souvenirs from the pulp. On the bottom of the cat there is a paper made of label that reads MADE OF THE U. S. BANK NOTES REDEEMED AND MACERATED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AT WASHINGTON D.C., - ESTIMATED $5,000.
