Description: This is an original 2TB SSD module removed from a working M1 Mac Studio 2022 model. This consists of just one original Apple 2TB SSD module. Update your 512GB or 1TB Mac Studio to a 2TB SSD. Works with both the Ultra or Max models. Parts retails for almost $900 if you are able to get it from Apple. Please note that this SSD module can only be used, in Mac Studio configurations that have a single SSD module such as the 512GB and the 1TB configurations. It cannot be used to update a 1TB config to 3TB, or to update 2TB config to 4TB or a 4TB config to 6TB, or update 8TB to 10TB. To replace the SSD module, you’ll need a separate Mac running the latest version of macOS or a separate Mac with Apple Configurator installed to restore the Mac. Please do not buy if you do not have access to another mac. Includes printed instructions on how to install and restore your Mac with the updated SSD module. An adhesive kit $16 (Part 923-07944) from the Apple Self Service Repair Store is also required to reinstall the black bottom cover screw pad or you can chose to not reinstall this part. I'm not responsible if you damage your Studio installing the SSD module. You will also need to reuse the black SSD module cover from you existing SSD module.
