Founded in 1923, Mikhail Zaitsev's publishing house was the epicentre of literary and cultural activity of the Russian exile in Manchuria. After the entry of Soviet troops into Manchuria and the fall of the puppet state of Manchukuo, the publishing house finally ceased its activity.
