Description: This huge santa is 44.5” tall and weighs 40.5 lbs. The brick portion is 5.5-5.75” deep and 11-11.5” wide. It is signed by M. Critzer and dated 2004. I found a few other examples of his/her work online, but couldn’t find any info about the artist or their first name. Some of the lines in the brick look like they are from the end of a chainsaw, but there’s also a lot of finer details in Santa’s face that are obviously not from a chainsaw. It’s carved from a single piece of wood, which has a lot of natural cracks. Overall, it doesn’t have much wear. There is a cut on Santa's nose. One of the back edges has some scuffs, circled in a photo. There is some water damage on the very bottom edge, which is not perfectly flat. I had it sitting on a tile floor, and folded up a grocery store ad to shove under one side, and that stopped it from wobbling.
