Lyngdorf / TacT TDA-2200 Digital Amplifier (1 of 2)

Description: TacT / Lyngdorf TDA-2200 Digital Amplifier, complete with remote control, UK power cable and original box and packing materials. The Operating Manual will be supplied as a pdf version on a USB stick with the amplifier, together with copies of the firmware version the unit is running, Lyngdorf software, installation instructions etc. This is one of the early TDA-2200 amplifiers, branded TacT, but is identical in all other respects to later Lyngdorf branded TDA-2200 units and also manufactured in Denmark. Please note this amplifier is equipped with Digital inputs only and does not have any inbuilt room correction capabilities (as fitted to some Lyngdorf TDAI-2200 units). This amplifier has been owned by me since new and is in excellent and operational used condition. I have two similar and consecutively serial numbered amplifiers - with this unit being listed as Number 1 of 2. The only condition issue to note is that the Front Panel Power Button is currently stuck in the 'ON' position and has been this way for the last few years. I have not attempted to resolve the issue, as I have always used the amp in stand-by mode with the front panel switch left in the 'On' position anyway. In everyday use the amp is powered-on from stand-by mode by pressing the Power button on the remote control, one of the Input buttons on the front panel, or via remote activation trigger - not by using the power button on the front panel, which is just an isolator switch acting in the same way as switching the amp on or off at the wall socket. Please note this is a vintage item of equipment and requires either an old computer to run it's software, equipped with an RS-232 serial port and DB 9 connector, or the use of a suitable adaptor to convert to this communication format from a more modern computer's USB port - assuming the software will also run correctly on it's operating system. This is only necessary if it is intended to make use of the digital crossover capabilities, which are programmed using the Lyngdorf software, or if it is intended to be used in a system of linked Lyngdorf amplifiers. The amplifier will be shipped in an original TacT / Lyngdorf TDA-2200 box and packing materials.
