SHERWOOD play "THERE SHALL BE NO NIGHT" at the Alvin Theatre in New York City. (The production opened April 29th, 1940 and ran for 115 performances before going on a one-month summer hiatus. The play returned on September 9th, 1940 to the Alvin Theatre for an additional 66 performances.) .....
