It was very surprising for everyone on the boat. While getting ready to depart the anchr was drawn up and once it broke the surface of the water something shined. Resting in the groove of the bell type anchor,... pulled from the muck of the bottom of the lake ...was this 1996 George Washington quarter. From its condition it's clear that it was down there a long time just waiting for that special day.
