Description: . —A Note About Shipping— Look, I realize that $8.99 for shipping looks ridiculous -- but I actually end up paying even MORE than that for a Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope, after eBay's fees are taken into account! (Unfortunately, comics cannot legally be shipped by the cheaper Media Mail rate.) The best way to get more bang for your shipping bucks is by winning enough of my comic book auctions to fill up this envelope, which can hold up to 16 comics (with cardboard surrounding the books). Or I can fit up to 60 comics in a Priority Mail Medium-Size Flat Rate Box for a flat $18.00 shipping to any US address. So buy more and save! —Description of This Auction—— Having all of my comics professionally graded by CGC would cost a fortune and take forever, and I don't have either the time or patience. But if you do, nearly all of my comics definitely are "grading worthy!" My grading scale includes Near Mint (looks like it was just bought, any flaws are extremely minor), Very Fine (almost Near Mint, but just misses), Fine (still looks new but has small imperfections), Very Good (shows evidence of handling and has notable flaws but none are disastrously awful), Good (more flawed, still a solid book for reading but that's about it), Fair (big problems) and Poor (horrible condition, trash it after reading it). Here is what you will get in this auction: This auction is for a total of eight comics: all three issues (1, 2 and 3) of the 1999 mini-series "Lucifer" that preceded the regular series, plus the 2002 squarebound one-shot "Lucifer: Nirvana," plus issues 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the later ongoing series. All books are like new. (NOTE: I am selling many other "Lucifer" auctions right now that make up nearly the entire run of the "Lucifer" series, so be sure to check out my other listings!) More details about the comics you will get in this auction: LUCIFER mini-series issue 1 of 3, March 1999, by Mike Carey and Scott Hampton. NEAR MINT condition. LUCIFER mini-series issue 2 of 3, April 1999, FINE condition (some stress indents at spine), by Carey and Hampton. LUCIFER mini-series issue 3 of 3, May 1999, NEAR MINT, by Scott and Hampton. LUCIFER: NIRVANA one-shot, 2002, VERY FINE (just a single small scuff line on cover), by Mike Carey and Jon J. Muth. LUCIFER (regular series) issue 5, October 2000, by Mike Carey and Peter Gross. VERY FINE condition (some minor stress indents at spine, otherwise like new). LUCIFER (regular series) issue 6, November 2000, VERY FINE (some minor stress indents at spine). LUCIFER (regular series) issue 7, December 2000, VERY FINE (tiny "bump" at top left corner). LUCIFER (regular series) issue 8, January 2001, NEAR MINT. You'll love them! Any questions, just ask! ANOTHER GREAT COMICS AUCTION, FROM A SMOKE-FREE, PET-FREE HOME! ----------------Shipping Info---------------- Up to 16 comics will ship for a flat $8.99 to any US address, in a Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope with cardboard surrounding the books for protection. Unfortunately, comics cannot legally be shipped by the post office's cheaper Media Mail rate. YOUR BEST SHIPPING DEAL would be to win enough of my auctions to fill this envelope, which can hold up to 16 comics. Even better, I can get up to 60 comics in a Priority Medium-Size Flat-Rate Box for a flat $18.00 to any US address. IMPORTANT: If you win more than one of my auctions, DO NOT PAY the individual invoices eBay will send, because they will not show the shipping discount. Instead, let me know, and I will send you a revised, lower invoice through eBay! International shipping will be higher, and only through eBay's Global Shipping Program. Comics will be bagged together two to a bag with a board between them, not individually bagged and boarded.
