It is IPX7 water resistant so is an ideal option for music on the beach or around a pool. Its small size makes it far more practical as a portable speaker, but it still packs a punch and has incredible sound quality. We realise that most Defenders will already have a built-in sound system hence why we have focused on it being easy to remove and to be used once you are at your destination. However, if you have an early Defender or a Series Land Rover then this can double up as an on-board speaker and it is loud enough even for a soft top. The console simply bolts straight into TDCI and TD5 models (will fit earlier Defenders but you may need to drill the 4 holes) and the speaker charges simply using a USB socket so no need to get an auto electrician to install.
