Description: items from the estate of a good friend and tool collector. these holders were used for counterbores (and maybe other tooling), the start of the taper is .68 inches ID, two are not branded , one LSI, they are the same size and quality. The patent is 1938/ possibly aviation surplus, my friend lived close to the Lockheed plant and frequented their surplus store for many years. the tool holder has a #2 Morse taper. It references pat 2120622, see https://ppubs.uspto.gov/dirsearch-public/print/downloadPdf/2120622 I have three of these, one has the stamped patent number and LSI marking, 2 have no markings, they look the same to me so I'm not distinguishing.
