Description: LP: Bizet - Carmen Suite / L'Arlesienne Suites 1 & 2 - Paul Paray conducting Detroit Symphony Orchestra - Mercury Wing SRW 18074 Comments: Fully play-tested. Visual Record Condition: The vinyl is in VG condition. It is quite glossy with some light surface scuffs. Record Labels Condition: The labels look wonderful. There isn't any writing/tape/stickers on the labels. Play Test Notes: I played this record from start to finish before offering it for sale. There is generally mild, sometimes moderate background record surface noise crackle and a few ticks here and there Surface noise is most notable in intros/between tracks and in quieter passages. The sound of the music itself is superb. I found it to be an enjoyable listen even with the aforementioned surface noise. Jacket Type and Condition: The standard LP jacket with pasted-on art is in VG condition. It looks pretty good from the front but you'll notice damage toward the bottom on the right as well as a small drill hole there. The bottom seam is split nearly 80% of the way. There are some light surface crease lines as well as some edge and corner wear. On the backside there are some stains toward the bottom and some writing near the top left.. Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The inner sleeve is a quality poly replacement. Inserts: No inserts. Shipping Notes: The shipping charge you are asked to pay covers some of the costs I incur for postage and quality packing materials. This will be packed well for secure shipping. By default the package will travel by the slower Media Mail rate. For speedier delivery, an option to use Priority Mail shipping is provided at check-out. The post office makes no delivery time guarantee for Priority Mail, but Priority Mail packages almost always are delivered within 2 or 3 days from the time I hand them over to the post office. I generally pack and ship items sold right away and hand them over to the post office at the earliest opportunity (sometimes same day, sometimes next day).
