Description: A fabulous vintage Mid Century solid 14k gold 20 carat citrine cocktail statement ring, dating to circa the 1960s. This wonderful vintage solid 14k yellow gold statement ring from the 1960s has a large and beautiful 20 carat emerald cut natural citrine which is nearly rock crystal transparent in color with a warm and beautiful early dawn-light pale yellow glow when it touches the light, the citrine is prong set on the corners and sits in a raised, closed setting with lovely pierced floral abstract decorations all around, the ring with a classic band-a joy to wear and lovely to look at! The ring is marked '14K' inside the band. The ring tests for 14k gold. The ring is approximately a size 6 1/4. The citrine measures approximately 20.2mm x 14.6mm x 10.2mm or about 20.0 carats. The ring rises about 12mm above the finger and weighs approximately 9.8 grams. The ring is in excellent condition, viewed under a loupe the citrine has only gentle wear including a few light scratches here and there. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items!
