The watch has a solid silver case and watch strap which measures seven & a quarter inches long and is a fixed watch strap but does have two adjustments on the clasp and has a lovely bark type sleek effect and has a full set of hall marks for London silver 1981 and makers mark of WHWLtd. The casing is solid silver measuring nearly threequarter inches in diameter, with the width of the band here measuring half of an inch at the widest part by the case and inside the casing it again has the full set of matching london hallmarks & makers mark. The movement is really lovely, crisp, clean, marked , Garrard, swiss, 17 jewels, . The dial is a lovely clean silver oyster tpe dial with black markers & black & silver hands and marked for garrard, swiss movement. The watch is hand winding working well , but i cannot guarrantee its workings due to being a vintage timepiece and as with age the watch has been used and worn daily, , so is in very good condion but probably need a service & on the back of this watch it says, imi limited, presented to joan bird, 20 years services 1981, so nicely this watch has been a cherished item for 20 years loyal service. Please note due to a few toatally dishonest ebayers, i will not have watches returned or pay the full amount on watches that have been fiddled with & either broken or have been overwound you do not need to overwind a watch to wind it up, & this watch will be checked & verified before being sent out. This watch has been checked & verified by a watchmaker & has a quality movement inside, from a top quality retailer This really is a delightful quality vintage ladies watch in very good origional condition that looks such lovely quality worn and most certainly will not disapoint that looks very contemporary worn.
