Lovely Pentax 75mm f/1.4 C Mount CCTV/Machine Vision Lens FULL m4/3 COVERAGE

Description: Up for sale is a lovely example of a high-quality C mount TV lens by renowned Japanese optics maker Pentax. This lens features the standard registration C screw mount and was originally designed for high resolution machine vision and low light CCTV purposes on cameras with 1" sensors. It features an exceptionally fast f/1.4 max aperture and in testing has an image circle that easily covers an m4/3 sensor, and a throat that fits in most adapters, making it a great option for using in adapted digital still (Lumix, OM system m4/3) and cinema (Blackmagic BMPCC) applications. On a full sized m4/3 sensor, its angle of view would be equivalent to a 150mm portrait lens on 35mm film. I don't currently have an APS-C to C adapter to test it on, but I imagine it at least comes close to full sensor coverage even on APS-C sensors such as found in Sony NEX/E series cameras. The iris mechanism consists of three blades that move to form a hexaganol aperture shape at all settings, and set screws on both the focus and aperture ring can be tightened to lock the lens position for machine or surveillance applications.
