Description: Lovely Michael Michaud Table Art Olive Dish Cast Pewter Freshwater Pearls Bronze Finish Measures 4 3/8 inches across by 7/8 inch tall. Condition: Used, beautiful shape. Michael Michaud Table Art cast pewter with bronze finish and real freshwater pearl accents olive dish. The decorative leaves are cast from real olive leaves. There are two spots of green verdigris patina under the top of the olive branch on the side of the bowl. This is completely normal and a part of the patina as it ages. The end of the branch has a tiny bit of extra metal. I've run my finger over it and it's not really sharp, but could poke the skin if you really jam it in there. Michaud is a contemporary artist who uses botanical elements of nature in his works. Known for his jewelry and servingware, each piece is made in New York. Retail price of this dish runs around $125.
