Lovely Japanese Noritake Porcelain Coffee Set c.1920s

Description: Lovely Japanese Noritake Porcelain Coffee Set c.1920s A rather lovely Noritake part coffee set comprising of a lidded, handled tall coffee pot and two cups and saucers. The green Noritake back stamp dates this to the first half of the 20th century and the set is likely from c1920.The set is decorated with a beautiful floral design in enamelled red, yellow, green, blue and pink with thick gilt highlights and gilt rims. Very similar to the early Noritake 'Azure' pattern although I haven't been able to identify the exact pattern name for this set. In terms of condition, the coffee pot lid has an excellent antique staple repair (one of the best staple repairs I've ever seen) and there is wear to the gilt in places, particular on the handle to the coffee pot. There is also some (lighter) wear to the gilt cup handles but otherwise the set is in excellent condition - the enamelled painting in particular is still sharp and bright. Just a really lovely small coffee set. I haven't cleaned the set at all and it should be noted that there are some old coffee stains at the bottom of the pot but these can easily be cleaned (but NOT in a dishwasher!). The coffee pot is ~16.5cm high, 16.5cm wide (spout to handle), weighs 368g and holds ~400ml. The cups are 5.5cm high, 5.5cm diameter and weigh 52g each.
