Description: Here we have an antique miniature hardcover edition of Friendship and Love, by Ralph Waldo Emerson. It was published by the David McKay Company in Philadelphia, but there is no print date present; I estimate that it was early 1900's. Some of the endpapers are missing. The rear decorative end paper is obviously torn out, which suggests that there was one in the front as well, though there is now no sign of it. The mull at the front hinge is exposed, but the binding is still stable. Outside, there is some edge wear around the spine, and tiny bumped corners. The title is printed bottom to top on the spine, and is somewhat faded.
